About the job

Ideenion is looking for a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to lead our development team and also be part of expanding it with new members. As TEAM LEAD SOFTWARE (M/F/D) you will be responsible for managing a team of developers, collaborating with other departments and guiding the team development efforts.


Your daily tasks include

  • Resource and time planning
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring
  • Maintaining high standards of code and software quality within the team
  • Working together with project managers, other departments and customers to prioritize tasks and deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
  • Contributing to the development of technical specifications, architectural designs, and system documentation
  • Identifying and encouraging areas for growth and improvement within the team

Job requirements

Minimum qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience as a Software Developer
  • Programming skills, e.g. C, C++, C#, Python
  • Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
  • Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
  • Passionate about expanding your skillset and overcoming new challenges
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, German is a bonus

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Git and Jira
  • Experience in automotive prototyping
  • Experience with Qt and QML
  • Experience with electronics and embedded software development
  • Experience with game engines, e.g. Unreal Engine and Unity 3D
  • Experience with 3D tools, e.g. Blender, Maya, 3Ds Max
  • Working knowledge of graphics design tools, e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
